    What is Twilight Showcase & Art Fest?

    HISTORY

    Started in a backyard in 2019, Twilight Showcase and Art Fest has grown from a grassroots screening to an outdoor film festival dedicated to celebrating the voices of underrepresented filmmakers and artists. Held in October 2024 in central Los Angeles, the festival features narrative short films, music videos, experimental films, and indie feature trailers, with a strong emphasis on works by API, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and emerging artists. Attendees will enjoy live music, spoken word performances, and a vibrant vendor marketplace. The festival provides a platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their talent, make industry connections, and inspire future creativity. Join us for an evening of art, culture, and community in the heart of Los Angeles.

    What films do we accept?

    Twilight Showcase's short film programming accepts narrative short films, music videos, short documentaries, experimental films, and indie feature trailers. All film submissions must either be from an underrepresented community, or highlights issues regarding underrepresented communities. All genres within a PG-13 rating are accepted. Submissions are encouraged to be under 15 minutes to ensure a wide mix of genres and topics.
